A seven-day stay with an unforgettable program in the Nordic wilderness.

The program includes adventures on scooters, sleigh rides, reindeer trails, husky sleds, ice fishing, sitting in a real Finnish sauna, and a trip to the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, where you will get a certificate from this extraordinary place. You will also visit the village where Santa Claus lives, where children also send their Christmas cards.

DAY 1  – ARRIVAL

DAY 2 – SNOWMOBIL  RIDE

After breakfast, departure to Kiannanniemi, where you will get acquainted with the safety and operating conditions of snowmobiling, followed by training and practice of riding in two, or even in one. A 2-hour drive along a frozen lake and partly through the forest on marked routes awaits you. In the middle of the program a small snack and at the end a sauna.  Also, a small gift is also waiting for you. Dinner at the accommodation.

DAY 3 – ROVANIEMI ARCTIC CIRCLE

After breakfast, s a full-day trip from Rovaniemi to the Arctic Circle. Tour of the Arctic Museum, acquaintance with Lapland culture, Nordic nature, and the history of the Samos – Lapps. We will visit Santa Claus home and enjoy leisure activities and take a drink from an ice glass in the Rovaniemi  Arctic hotel.  Dinner upon arrival back to the accommodation.

DAY 4 – HOSSA NATIONAL PARK on SNOWSHOES

After breakfast, hiking trip with snowshoes to Hossa National Park for a tour of the prehistoric rock paintings of Värikallio. In the afternoon we visit a reindeer farm with the possibility of riding a reindeer sleigh.  Dinner.

DAY 5 – HUSKY DOG SLED

 After breakfast, a day for the Husky sled. Getting acquainted with the rules of dog sledding, subsequent training, and the practice of riding. The pair alternates, so that one rides and the other drives the dogs (it is an Alaskan and Siberian breed). Finally, the ride on the marked routes (approx. 10-15km). After finishing a ride we enjoy a traditional small snack and return to the accommodation. Dinner.

DAY 6 – SUOMUSSALMI, RAATE, FISHING on ICE

After breakfast, trip to the regional city of Suomussalmi, the possibility to enjoy shopping and luxurious hotel spa. In the afternoon we stop in Raate, where hard fighting took place during the Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union. You can try this day also your luck for fishing on ice – pimpelfiske.   Dinner, sauna

DAY 7 – DEPARTURE

After Breakfast, departure to Kajaani for  flight to Helsinki, and connected flight according to your home destination
