DAY 1  –  ARRIVAL TO VIENNA

 Vienna – the imperial architecture, the lavish palaces, and the incredible museums of the Austrian capital are sure to take your breath away. Spend the time in Vienna city center touring the area around Stephensplatz. Go inside Stephensdom and climb the tower for some of the best views over Vienna. Walk down   Graben – a famous shopping street, and make sure you visit  Demel – famous for its gourmet chocolate and desserts. Color your day by having a slice of the world-known Sacher Torte at Café  Sacher and have an early dinner, it is time to go to the opera! The Vienna Opera is one of the premier spots in the world to watch the opera and tickets are sold for just a few euros…the perfect opportunity to tour this beautiful building and watch a world-class opera performance in Europe. Vienna is always associated with Classical music, brilliant Viennese maestro, graceful architecture and, of course, cozy cafes with coffee and strudel. Visit Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Hapsburgs. Very beautiful is also an evening city tour of Vienna illuminated at night.  Dinner at the hotel.

 

DAY 2 –  VIENNA  to  PRAGUE via CESKY KRUMLOV  

 After breakfast, we will leave Vienna to Praha via Cesky Krumlov – No. 1 UNESCO site after Prague. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1992, south Bohemia’s Cesky Krumlov is one of the region’s most picturesque towns, made up of elegant Renaissance buildings housing charming cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and galleries. Along the way, you can gaze at the picturesque countryside of South Bohemia. Arrive at Praha in the evening. Hotel check-in, dinner.

DAY  3: PRAGUE

 After breakfast, we start with a city sightseeing tour of Prague. You will discover all highlights of the city. The Old Town, founded in the 10th century, is a matrix of twisting cobblestone streets that lead into Prague’s Old Town Square. Architectural treasures from every century have been preserved to create an enchanting blend of history. The square is framed by the Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock, which was built in the Middle Ages and reconstructed in the 16th century. At every full hour between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., you can watch the procession of the 12 apostles passing by Charles Bridge. It is the oldest preserved Gothic bridge in the city, build in the years 1357 – 1407 under Charles IV, which connects the Old Town with the Lesser Town. On the Old Town end, there is the Church of the Knights of the Cross on the right side and the facade of the Church of St. Saviour, a part of the Clementinum, the former Jesuit College. The Old Town Bridge Tower from the 14th century is said to be the most beautiful Gothic gateway in Central Europe. Since 1992, the historic center of Prague was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. In the afternoon, free time for individual visits or shopping. You can visit the Prague Castle „Hradcany”, which is the largest ancient castle in the world.

DAY 4 –   PRAGUE -DRESDEN – BERLIN

 After breakfast, you will depart towards Dresden, a city which, due to its exceptional architectural and artistic heritage, has become one of the main tourist destinations in Germany. In your free time, you may choose to explore the city’s striking silhouettes that belong to palaces, churches, and stately buildings. The most important historical monuments are the Zwinger and Albertinum galleries, the Hofkirche and Frauenkirche churches, and the Semperoper opera house. During World War II, the city suffered a massive air raid that almost destroyed it entirely; however, it was reconstructed and rebuilt. We recommend visiting baroque Zwinger Palace, which lies in the city’s historical center and serves as a gallery housing works of art such as the Sistine Madonna and masterpieces by Rembrandt and other famous artists.  Arrive in Berlin in the evening. Hotel check–in, dinner.

DAY 5 –   BERLIN

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour in Germany’s incredible capital: Berlin to ease your way into the local culture. During this time with your guide, you will start from the historic center, go to Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gates and see many of the city’s magnificent parks.  The entrance is also included in the Berlin Wall Museum which documents the history of the divided city. After these visits, you can enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Cafeé, huge shopping on the Street Unter den Linden.. For the evening, we recommend a stroll through the lively area of Kantstrasse, a district that offers various types of restaurants and cafés. Dinner. 

 

DAY 6 –   BERLIN – HAMMELN – AMSTERDAM

After breakfast   transfer from Berlin  to Amsterdam,  boat sightseeing tour in the evening,

DAY 7  –  Amsterdam – Vollendamm – Zaanse Schanse

After breakfast, your dutch day begins with a trip to the neighborhood of Zaanse Schans, where you can see historic windmills and distinctive green wooden houses as if you were in a 17th-century community. You will also visit Volendam, a quaint fishing village in Marken, with a popular getaway island with scenic views, rich history, and a car-free center. As you return to Amsterdam in the afternoon, enjoy the Dam Platz, official buildings, and participate in a diamond cutting workshop.  Perhaps you will choose to visit the well-known Van Gogh Museum, home to the largest collection of artworks by Vincent Van Gogh. Dinner.

DAY 8  –   Amsterdam, Brussels, Bruges, Paris

Feeling Belgium – waffel, chockolade, EU center

After breakfast, we will leave for BRUSSELS and will have time in the Grand Place and take a stop to photograph the Atomium. Later we stop in BRUGES, the marvelous Flemish city known as the “northern little Venice”. Continuation to France. PARIS, arrival at the end of the day. Hotel check-in, dinner.

DAY 9 –  PARIS

City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower.

After breakfast, we proceed on a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards, and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit to the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument. End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south.  At sunset transfer to the “Quartier Latin”, a very picturesque area of the historic center where you can enjoy dinner with a wide variety of international cuisines. Return to hotel, dinner.

DAY 10 –  Paris, Noyers, Beaune, Lyon

After breakfast. we travel to the center of France to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. A stop in MOYERS, a small medieval town classified amongst the prettiest places in France. After this, we will visit BEAUNE in the center of the Bourgogne region where its streets full of flowers, its hospice, and its wine museum can be reminders of your trip.  LYON – Arrival mid-afternoon -, to the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône, its historic center has been declared a World Heritage site.  Hotel check-in, dinner.

Day 11 – Lyon, Geneva, Zurich

After breakfast, we have a beautiful stage – we travel to Switzerland. GENEVA. With our guide, let’s go to the Palais des Nations (the United Nations headquarters in Europe) and then to the beautiful “Jardin Anglais” with its flower clock, and admire the “Jet d’Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, we will continue through Switzerland passing the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel Lakes. Check-in hotel, dinner.

 

DAY 12 –  Zurich, Burglen, Lugano, Morcote, Milan

After breakfast, we travel to BURGLEN, the tiny village where William Tell was born, we shall see the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. We continue to LUGANO the cosmopolitan capital of Italian Switzerland with its beautiful lake. Following the shores of the lake, we reach the enchanting little town of MORCOTE, with its houses made of stone, and covered with flowers. Arrive in MILAN where our guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square. Hotel check-in, dinner.

 

DAY 13 –  Milan, Pisa, Rome

After breakfast, we continue towards PISA. On a little tourist train, we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the afternoon. Hotel check-in, dinner.

 

DAY 14 – ROME

After breakfast, visit the Roman Colosseum and Vatican City. In the morning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal center of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And we discover the Roman Colosseum, the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire.  Dinner.

 

Day 15-  ROME

After breakfast, departure home according to flight schedule
