The tour covers the highlights of Holy Land and Jordan – we visit sites including Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Galilee, Petra, Madaba, Mount Nebo,  and Amman. And many more, the places of the Bible will be brought to life, and with all arrangements in place, you’ll be free to simply sit back, absorb the content, let your senses take in the sights, sounds, tastes, and smells, and reflect on a set of memories which will remain with you forever.

DAY 1-  ARRIVAL to AMMAN

Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, our representative will meet you with a sign after you passed through the customs.

Today discover Jordan’s capital Amman, spreading over 20 hills. First, visit the Citadel with the remains of the Umayyad Palace and the Hercules Temple as well as the Archaeological Museum with its excellent collection. From the Citadel we have a panoramic overview of the traditional part of the city. In downtown, we see the Roman Theatre from the 2nd century and the traditional souks. Then we stroll in Jabal Amman with its 19th-century houses, in one of them the late King Hussein had been born. After that, get an idea of the modernity of the city by driving through Abdoun, a residential area and the centre of nightlife., Hotel check-in, dinner, and 1. overnight. 

DAY 2 –  PETRA

After breakfast, we drive 2.5 hours via the Desert Highway to the rock city Petra, Jordan’s main attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Petra was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe settling in the area. With a sophisticated water supply and distribution system, the city could prosper and the Nabateans founded a commercial empire that extended into Syria and controlled the main caravan routes at that time. Meet your private guide at the Visitor Centre and start the tour on horseback or on foot to the Siq, the narrow canyon with some votive niches. At the end of this gorge, you will see the most beautiful monument of Petra, the Treasury, also known as Al Khazneh. Continue along the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle.

Return to Amman for dinner and the 2.night 

DAY  3 –  JERICHO – BETHANIA – NAZARETH – TIBERIAS

After transfer and pass the Border Allenby Bridge we drive to  Bethania the Town of Mary, Martha and Lazarus.  We proceed to visit Jericho – the world’s oldest city and view Qarantal, the traditional Mount of Temptation and Sycamore Tree. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on the way to Jerusalem. Finally, overlooking Tiberias, you will visit the site of baptism on the Jordan River, where you can have a baptismal service.

DAY 4  –  CAPERNAUM – TABGHA – CANA – TEL AVIV – BETHLEHEM

After breakfast, stop at St. Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter, and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciples, the flat rock known as Mensa Christy, Christ’s table, to commemorate this event. Then to Capernaum – the center of Jesus’ ministry after he left Nazareth, Stop by Tabgha – the Church of the Multiplication of the Five Loaves and Two Fishes and the expressive church of the Beatitudes. Drive to Tel – Aviv for Panorama visit then to proceed to Bethlehem.

DAY 5-  JERUSALEM OLD CITY – GOLGHOTA – WAILING WALL    

After breakfast, we visit The Old City of Jerusalem, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, is a walled area located within the modern city of Jerusalem. The Old City is home to several sites of religious importance including the Temple Mount and its Western Wall for Jews, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Christians, and the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque for Muslims.

Proceed to the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance with two silver domes. Also, The Tomb widely believed to be the part of the stone that covered Jesus’ Tomb. Visit the Cenacle – Last Supper Room, the tomb of King David and –the other upper room. Visit the Dome of the Rock, Then proceed to the Jewish quarter to the Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place in the Jewish religion, and visit the Western Wall tunnels. DAY 6 – MOUNT OF OLIVES – GETHSEMANE – BETHLEHEM   

After breakfast, Visit the Church of Nativity – the birthplace of Jesus and the City of David, Manager Square; Crusaders Cloister Grotto of St. Jerome. Then visit Milk Grotto, then proceed to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit Shepherd’s field, which is located in the Judah province. It was here that the Angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod. Also, here David tended his flocks until he was anointed King of Israel. Head to Jerusalem, Walk along the Palm Sunday road down to the chapel of Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over eminent destruction of Jerusalem and Garden of Gethsemani where Jesus prayed while Judah betrayed him to the Romans. Visit the Basilica of agony and Tomb of St. Mary.

DAY 7 –  DEAD SEA – MADABA – Mt. NEBO– AMMAN

After breakfast, transfer to Allenby Bridge to Cross to Jordan side, Meet & Assist and transfer directly to visit Mt. Nebo where Moses have gone to get a view of the Promised Land before he died and from a platform in front of the church one can enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

Then continue to Umm Ar-Rasas which is a very ancient site that is mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The rectangular walled city is mostly in ruins but does still include several buildings, as well as four churches and some beautiful stone arches.   The main attraction is outside the city walls within the Church of St. Stephen, which contains a very large, perfectly preserved mosaic floor laid down in 718 AD. It portrays fifteen major cities of the Holy Land from both east and west of the River Jordan. This magnificent mosaic is second only to Madaba’s world-famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Then transfer to visit Madaba Mosaic Map which is an index map of the region, dating from the sixth century AD, preserved in the floor of the Greek Orthodox Basilica of Saint George, with two million pieces of color stone, the map depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns in Palestine and the Nile Delta. The mosaic contains the earliest extant representation of Byzantine Jerusalem, labeled the “Holy City.”

Check –out, after breakfast transfer to the Queen  Allia International Airport for departure flight
