DAY 2: PRAHA
During today’s city sightseeing tour of Praha, you will discover all highlights of the city. The Old Town, founded in the 10th century, is a matrix of twisting cobblestone streets that lead into Prague’s Old Town Square. Architectural treasures from every century have been preserved to create an enchanting blend of history. The square is framed by the Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock, which was built in the Middle Ages and reconstructed in the 16th century. At every full hour between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., you can watch the procession of the 12 apostles passing by Charles Bridge. It is the oldest preserved Gothic bridge in the city, build in the years 1357 – 1407 under Charles IV, which connects the Old Town with the Lesser Town. On the Old Town end, there is the Church of the Knights of the Cross on the right side and the facade of the Church of St. Saviour, a part of the Clementinum, the former Jesuit College. The Old Town Bridge Tower from the 14th century is said to be the most beautiful Gothic gateway in Central Europe. Since 1992, the historic center of Prague was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. In the afternoon, free time for individual visits or shopping. You can visit the Prague Castle „Hradcany”, which is the largest ancient castle in the world, or take a boat cruise on the Vltava River.
DAY 3: PRAHA -DRESDEN – BERLIN
Today, you will depart towards Dresden, a city which, due to its exceptional architectural and artistic heritage, has become one of the main tourist destinations in Germany. In your free time, you may choose to explore the city’s striking silhouettes that belong to palaces, churches, and stately buildings. The most important historical monuments are the Zwinger and Albertinum galleries, the Hofkirche and Frauenkirche churches, and the Semperoper opera house. During World War II, the city suffered a massive air raid that almost destroyed it entirely; however, it was reconstructed and rebuilt. We recommend visiting baroque Zwinger Palace, which lies in the city’s historical center and serves as a gallery housing works of art such as the Sistine Madonna and masterpieces by Rembrandt and other famous artists. Arrive in Berlin in the evening.
DAY 4: BERLIN
After breakfast, you will have a guided tour in Germany’s incredible capital: Berlin to ease your way into the local culture. During this time with your guide, you will start from the historic center, go to Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gates and see many of the city’s magnificent parks. The entrance is also included in the Berlin Wall Museum which documents the history of the divided city. After these visits, you can enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Cafeé, huge shopping on the Street Unter den Linden.. For the evening, we recommend a stroll through the lively area of Kantstrasse, a district that offers various types of cuisines to satisfy your taste buds.
DAY 5: BERLIN – AMSTERDAM
After breakfast Berlin individual program at leisure, late afternoon transfer to Amsterdam
DAY 6: Amsterdam – Vollendamm – Zaanse Schanse – MarkeN
Your dutch day begins with a trip to the neighborhood of Zaanse Schans, where you can see historic windmills and distinctive green wooden houses as if you were in a 17th-century community. You will also visit Volendam, a quaint fishing village where you will take a boat ride to Marken, a popular getaway island with scenic views, rich history, and a car-free center. As you return to Amsterdam in the afternoon, enjoy an audio-guided city tour to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, official buildings and participate in a diamond cutting workshop. While in Amsterdam, you won’t walk a kilometer without bumping into a masterpiece in the city. Perhaps you will choose to visit the well-known Van Gogh Museum, home to the largest collection of artworks by Vincent Van Gogh.
