Day 2 PRAHA
During today’s city sightseeing tour of Prague, you will discover all highlights of the city. The Old Town, founded in the 10th century, is a matrix of twisting cobblestone streets that lead into Prague’s Old Town Square. Architectural treasures from every century have been preserved to create an enchanting blend of history. The square is framed by the Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock, which was built in the Middle Ages and reconstructed in the 16th century. At every full hour between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., you can watch the procession of the 12 apostles passing by Charles Bridge. It is the oldest preserved Gothic bridge in the city, build in the years 1357 – 1407 under Charles IV, which connects the Old Town with the Lesser Town. On the Old Town end, there is the Church of the Knights of the Cross on the right side and the facade of the Church of St. Saviour, a part of the Clementinum, the former Jesuit College. The Old Town Bridge Tower from the 14th century is said to be the most beautiful Gothic gateway in Central Europe. Since 1992, the historic center of Prague was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. In the afternoon, free time for individual visits or shopping. You can visit the Prague Castle „Hradcany”, which is the largest ancient castle in the world, or take a boat cruise on the Vltava River. You will enjoy dinner at a typical Prague beer restaurant.

Walk down Graben – a famous shopping street, and make sure you visit Demel , famous for its gourmet chocolate and desserts. Color your day by having a slice of the world-famous Sacher Torte at Café Sacher and have an early dinner, it is time to go to the opera! The Vienna Opera is one of the premier spots in the world to watch the opera and tickets are sold for just a few euros…the perfect opportunity to tour this beautiful building and watch a world-class opera performance in Europe
Vienna is always associated with Classical music, brilliant Viennese maestro, graceful architecture and, of course, cozy cafes with coffee and strudel.
Visit Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Hapsburgs. For those who have been to Versailles, you may experience deja vu, as these two residences are very similar. Hofburg Palace (the home of the Hapsburgs) and the Kaisergruft (the crypt that holds the remains of the Hapsburgs). We recommend also an evening tour of Vienna illuminated at night – Opera, Hofburg Palace, Rathaus, and other famous buildings.

We recommend taking the PANORAMIC trip to SALZBURG , 12 hrs

Along the way, you will see famous landmarks such as the Cathedral, Mozarteum and St Peter’s Cemetery, where the Von Trapp family sought refuge in the 1960 musical. As you wander the cobbled Getreidegasse shopping street, the house of Salzburg’s most famous resident will appear, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In the Mirabell Palace and its gardens experience the backdrop of the famous “Do Re Mi“ scene in The Sound of Music before taking in the views up to the Hohensalzburg, the imposing fortress looming over the city.
